初来日するJack　Chaiyaについて

JackChaiyaは、チェンマイでも有名な故レック　チャイヤの唯一の後継者である息子です。彼女のスタイルは" 、ナーブタッチと呼ばれ、知識が豊富で、タイ漢方医だけでなく、マッサージセラピストでした。

ジャックが積極的に伝統的なタイ式マッサージを教え、治療を患者と協力しはじめたのは、二十年前からで、母親であるLek.chaiyaの影響を受け師弟関係となり技術を受け継ぎました。

ジャックは、カリフォルニア州の学校ウインズで、ナーブタッチワークショップを行うため、ママレックと一緒にアメリカにて、WS開催。

また、シベリアの広大な田舎のリトリートセンターでも WS。

ラオスのルアンパバーでは、１０年間、毎年タイマッサージサーカスにて講師をしています。

タイマッサージサーカスは、日本人の参加は、まだまだ少ないですが１年に１度開催され欧米人にとても人気のあるWSです。

１ヶ月しながら様々なマッサージを習っていきます。

私も今年の３月はアシスタントとして参加しましたがとても素晴らしい環境でした。

話がそれましたが、

現在、Jackは、タイの北部チェンマイで、マッサージセラピストと学校を運営しています。

日本には、初めて来ます。

Khru Jack has inherited the legacy and great reputation of his mother, the late (Mama) Lek Chaiya, who came from a family of Thai medicine practicioners. Her style was called "Nerve Touch," and she was a knowledgable herbalist as well as a massage therapist. Many of Chiang Mai's successful massage therapists and school directors began as students of Mama Lek.For almost two decades Jack has been actively teaching traditional Thai massage and working with clients therapeutically. Jack says he is always learning from his mentors, colleagues, students, and also from his clients who come to him for therapy treatments. Jack has taught throughout Thailand, and also in the USA, where he traveled with Mama Lek to teach Nerve Touch workshops sponsored by the Spirit Winds School in California. He has taught at a retreat center in the vast countryside of Siberia, and he is a guest instructor at the annual Thai Massage Circus, in Luang Prabang, Laos.
